Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her many credits as an actor. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She oversees the Assassination Witness as well as part of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. As part of her role at GI TOC she is focused on disappearances, assassinations and other violence of all forms in relation to illicit economics. Her interests in research also include the impact of organised criminality on human rights, as well as the impact of the laws and policies. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum honors degree with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She holds a LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula is a graduate of her school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude in Legal Science and Social Sciences. She has been a practicing lawyer for more than four years, working in a firm focused on public law litigation. Past experiences include assisting in the roles of non-governmental organizations based out of Rio de Janeiro or Geneva.
